Tilton 400 series release bearings are designed to be installed stradding the gear box bearing retainer and affixed to the bellhousing.

 

400-Series Hydraulic Release Bearing Assembly
Features:
- 4-bolt mounting pattern
- Constant-contact design for immediate response
- Self-adjusting for clutch wear
- Mount inside many Tilton OE, LGC and UTGC bellhousings
- Can be adapted to numerous applications with minor fabrication
- Includes steel braided hose, fittings and hardware

Installation Notes:
- A positive pedal stop MUST be used to prevent clutch overstroking
- Must remove pilot tube from the transmission input shaft bearing retainer (if it is present)

Collar Mount Hydraulic Release Bearing

CollarBearing.jpgTilton 600 series release bearings are designed to be installed using Tiltons threaded base units which double as the gear box front bearing retainer.

Tilton's two-piece 600-Series hydraulic release bearings consist of a hydrulic assembly and a base assembly. These two components are designed to replace the stock transmission input shaft bearing retainer, release bearing linkage and/or slave cylinder.

    • Adjustable set-up for proper fitment
    • Self-adjusting for clutch wear
    • Machined from billet aluminum for strength and weight savings
    • Suitable for hot rod, high performance and racing applications
