Tilton Clutches
Tilton triple plate clutches feature: open cover design for cooler cleaner operation - one piece cover for highest burst strength - high torque capacity - individually balanced. Twin plate clutches and single plate clutches available.
Sintered Clutch
OT-Series sintered metallic racing triple and twin plate clutches feature lightweight sintered metallic discs that provide a very low
rotating mass and quick shifting.
Although suitable for most forms of racing, the low mass discs used in this clutch design will not stand excessive slippage. 71/4 or 51/2 inch diameter clutches available.
Sintered Metallic Racing Clutches
OT-Series Sintered Metallic Racing clutches feature lightweight sintered metallic discs that provide a very low rotating mass and quick shifting. Sintered metallic clutches are common in most forms of racing world-wide, including road racing, circle track, endurance racing and off-road racing. Although suitable for most racing applications, the low mass discs used within these clutches are not designed to withstand excessive slippage/modulation. Not recommended for street use.

Cerametallic Clutch
OT-Series cerametallic competition clutches are supplied in single or twin plate configurations. There thicker plate and special
Cerametallic fricton material allow for a more forgiving engagement.
71/4 and 51/2 inch diameter units available. Triple plate clutches are not available is this material.
Cerametallic Rally Clutches
OT-Series Cerametallic Rally clutches feature 6-puck cerametallic discs, utilizing a unique blend of ceramic and metallic materials that offer a good balance of performance and drivability. The 6-puck discs have a thicker friction material than sintered metallic discs, providing the higher heat capacity needed when slipping/modulating the clutch. Suitable for most racing applications where limited clutch slippage/modulation is desired.

Professional Carbon Carbon Clutches
Carbon/Carbon Clutches
OT-Series Carbon/Carbon clutches offer the best in clutch technology. In 1989, Tilton patented the first carbon/carbon racing clutch. It was also the first carbon/carbon clutch to be used, and first to win, in Formula One (F1). Today, every car competing in Formula One utilizes this clutch technology. The experience Tilton has gained since 1989 has been applied to produce the very best carbon/carbon clutches available. The ultimate in clutch technology, Tilton Carbon/Carbon clutches offer a unique combination of low rotating mass, high torque capacity, extremely high heat capacity, smooth engagement and durability. In addition, the fact that the carbon/carbon plates do not warp from heat, the release of the clutch is very consistent and clutch failure from overheating is minimized. Suitable for use in most racing and high-performance applications.
