The lightest, fully functional transmission anywhere! With all the options, it can weigh under 34lbs! As with all Raptor transmissions, this one has two forward speeds and a reverse. Low gear can be a fixed 1.504 gear ratio, or the optional change gears with a total of four ratios available. High gear is a direct drive 1 to 1 ratio. This is a non-synchronized sliding gear transmission so you must match engine RPM to vehicle speed for clean shifts from low to high. The Raptor shorty transmission has an extremely clean, durable design, with all gears and shafts rotating on frictionless bearings. A floating input shaft contributes to positive high gear shifts while remaining in gear under the most competitive racing conditions.

More compact and considerably lighter than any other transmission of its kind. This transmission features two forward speeds and a reverse with an integral hydraulic applied clutch which operates low and reverse gears. High gear is a 1 to 1 direct drive ratio, while low gear isa 2.4 to 1 ratio. The Falcon was designed with durability as a requirement, with internal clutches being the only degradating internal parts. Direct drive shift quality ia also important, as is remaining in gear under the most gruelling racing conditions, Two types of input drives are available. Conventional 18 spline on the main drive shaft that engages splines in the crank coupler is standard. An option is a floating input shaft which forgives transmission mis-alignment with the crank coupler due to flywheel housing flex.
