The general idea of a Sparco Double Belt is quite simple. There is a 3" shoulder belt that goes directly over the driver's body to the attachment point. Sewn on top of the 3" belt is a 2" belt with an independent adjuster. This 2" belt goes over the head & nec8 point harness.jpgk restraint to act as the restraint for the device.  

The only complications of this setup are in the installation. It is CRITICAL to install these belts correctly. Failure to do this correctly may result in driver injury. The body belt (3" shoulder strap) must angle down off the shoulders at an angle between 20 and 30 degrees down from parallel to

the ground. The 2" shoulder strap needs to come off closer to 10 degrees and angle in more than the body belt does. Snap in fittings on lap and criutch with wrap around cage mount shoulder straps standard.

Sparco head & neck restaint 6 Point Single Seater

Two inch wide lap belt, cam lock harness with a 3" wide shoulder strap that becomesHarness.jpg a 2" wide strap for proper fitment over neck & neck restraints, 2" cutch belt. Bolt in fittings on all points are standard.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sparco 6 Point (replaces old 5 point designs)

This next generation Sparco harnesses see the old 5 point type crutch system replaced with the safer and more comfortable dual crutch design. Both of the attachments can be taken back to the same single mounting point like the old 5 point but the spread apart design of the new crutch strap makes for more comfort. harness 1.jpg

3" lap belt shoulder straps, 6 fastening points and centre fixing with professional buckle. They are adjustable on the shoulder straps with light weight adjusters for smooth, quick adjustment and perfect clamping. Special steel adjuster with aircraft quick release buckle and integrated professional crutch strap.
