SAE 4130 Chromium-Molybdenum Tube

4130 is a through-hardening chromium-molybdenum alloy steel. Chromium-Molybdenum is stocked and sold in 18’ sticks as-drawn, stress-relieved, 
normalized or quenched and tempered.
41xx steel is a family of high-strength low-alloy (HSLA) steels, as specified by the American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI). Alloying elements include chromium and molybdenum, and as a result these materials are often referred to as "chromoly" steels. They have an excellent strength to weight ratio, and are commonly used for structural tubing, for example in bicycle or race car frames. They are also used in aircraft, and 41xx grade structural tubing is sometimes referred to as "aircraft tubing".

105 Chromium-molybdenum Roll Cage Bender

The MODEL 105 is the latest and strongest model that has developed over 15 years of computer designing and extensive testing to ensure that this is the most versatile and rugged, yet affordable bender on the market today.
FRAME CONSTRUCTION computer designed to withstand the constant use in a professional fabrication shop. All links are CNC machined out of Cold Roll steel, stress relieved, straightened, then dipped in an anti-corrosion resistance solution and sprayed with a two part chip resistant black epoxy.
All PINS are CNC machined out of heat treated tool steel with easy grip finger indentations to make removal easy. This eliminates the problem associated with using pins that have rings which are constantly flipping over and jamming between the links.
RATCHET ASSEMBLY: The model 105 handle has been redesigned with a high leverage ratchet assembly that rotates on a special steel bushing that is graphite impregnated with an extended push bar, that has close ratio spacing that shortens bending time with precision accuracy.
POWERFUL: The model 105 is so well engineered that the average fabricator is able to bend mild steel tubing such as 1¾ O.D. x .095 wall thickness easily by hand.
BENDING TIME: Average time to complete a 90 degree bend is approximately 30-60 seconds (depending on the size of tube).
DIE CHANGES: Are extremely easy taking less than 30 seconds.
OPTIONAL DEGREE AND STOP RING: Large industrial type degree and stop ring combined with special adjustable stop bracket, with fine adjustment capabilities makes it possible for accurate bends every time.

IMPORTANT....
The Pro 105 bender was designed and imported specifically for bending 4130 chromium-molybdenum seamless tube, it is not designed to bend stainless steel, spaghetti or wood. ANYONE purchasing a Pro 105 to bend a product other than 4130 chromium-molybdenum seamless tube assumes all risk.

Makes angled tubing joints from 40° to 90°, quickly and accurately and is a must have for making custom roll cages and exhaust manifolds. Works well with 9/16" to 2" O.D. tubing and is useful in joining different sized tubing. Compatible with drill press or 1/2" power drill. Spanner wrench and 1-3/4" hole saw blade included.
